Dehleez goes off air

NDTV Imagine launched a new daily soap 'Dehleez' on 16 Feb 2009 by Siddhant Cinevision Productions. This serial paved the way for Sunil's comeback in the Hindi television world after a substantial time gap. He was portraying the character of Aakash Shrivastav, the eldest son in the Shrivastav family. The serial was reaching quite an interesting turn when the channel decided to take it off air. Inadequate TRP was the reason cited by the channel for the serials abrupt dismissal. The serial is no longer telecast since May 2009 end.

This definitely is not a good news for Sunil's fans. It was refreshing to watch Sunil in the Hindi media after a long long time. This was a good opportunity for him to reach to a wider audience and get noticed in the national media.
