Is Asambhav ending???

Hey all!

Since the past couple of months there have been quite many rumours & questions if Asambhav is about to end. Considering the fast pace at which the serial is moving forward, it only confirms the doubts. Today I just happened to check the Zee Marathi Schedule on Zee Marathi Website and I discovered that the 8:30 pm & 11.00 pm slots display New Daily Soap against them from 17th Aug 2009.

Well sometimes this information source is not 100% reliable. But what if it is this time? Is Asambhav really gonna end? Which other serial will replace Asambhav? Since the last couple of days a promo of a new show called "तिसरी घंटा" is being relayed...will this show likely replace Asambhav?

If Asambhav does end, we will surely miss an interesting serial & ofcourse also Dr Samant. But lets keep our fingers crossed. And in the meantime we have something more interesting to look forward to .... the Zee Marathi Awards.

Sunil's nomination for Zee Marathi Awards - 2009

Hey guys seems the last date for voting for the ZMA-2009 has been extended upto 10th Aug.!

Sunil has been honored with two nominations for the Zee Marathi Awards this year in the

'Best character - male' category as

Dr. Viraj Samant of Asambhav &

Vishal Pandey of Kalat Nakalat...

To vote online go to http://zeemarathi.com/ZMAwards2009.aspx

Guess there's no restriction on the number of votes per person. Also forms are available at the Waman Hari Pethe Showrooms & with the local cable operators!

Since both his nominations are in the same category, if all of us vote unanimously for the more popular character of Dr. Viraj Samant, the probability of Sunil winning the Award will be higher than when the votes get divided between his two nominations.

The last date for voting is 2nd Aug 2009.

Lets make sure that he wins by a larger margin

Sunil as Narsinha Killedar in Kunku

Hey guys finally the much awaited serial 'Kunku' is on air! SB is simply outstanding in the serial. As usual his rendition of the character of Narsinha Killedar, a respected & ambitious politician is superb! Well it is a bit difficult to see this evergreen actor ;-) displaying an aged look, but he's carried it with his usual grace!

How his character unfolds in the serial would be interesting to watch.

Grand entry of Narsimha Killedar!

What do you guys think of this? Share your opinions! I am sure SB would love to read what we think of his new serial & his role in it!

And keep watching Kunku every Mon-Sat at 7.00pm on Zee Marathi.

Proud Achievements

Sunil is the first Marathi actor whose 3 lead-role serials namely - Kalat Nakalat, Asambhav & Kunku - are being telecast on a single channel - Zee Marathi! All the 3 serials are telecast in the primetime slot!

That Sunil is nominated for the Zee Marathi Awards (2009) for 2 of them is the icing on the cake!(Click here for details).

A similar feat was achieved by him a few years back when 2 of his serials - Avantika & Nupur were telecast on Zee Marathi!

Currently Zee Marathi is playing 7 of Sunil's serials every week which in itself is a unique record to his credit. These serials are

Kunku - Mon-Sat 7:00 pm,

Asambhav - Mon-Sat 8:30pm,

Kalat Nakalat - Mon-Sat 9:00 pm,

Prapanch - Wed, Thurs, Fri at 10:30 pm,

Avantika - Tues-Sat 1:00AM,

Rimzim - 4:00 AM only on Fridays,

Tuzya Vina - Tues-Sat 4:30 AM,

Also a serial 'Fakta Tuzyasathi' is telecast on Sahyadri Marathi on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. Guess noone else either from the Marathi or even Hindi entertainment industry holds such a record. A high probability that this record will remain unbeaten in the years to come!

Daily Soap 'Kunku'

Starting 27th July, 2009 Zee Marathi will host a new daily soap 'Kunku' at 7.00pm from Monday to Saturday.

In the serial Sunil will be featured in a very different never-played-before type of character of a politician. But hey he doesn't really look as old as he should for the character ;-)

But this definitely is another addition to the variety of characters portrayed by him so far!

Don't forget to watch!
