Story at a glance:

The story is about a couple that gets separated in old age against their wishes. The youngest son Prasad gets transferred to a different city and decides to take his mother with him while the retired father has to stay with the elder son. The old couple is at a juncture in life where they feel the need for the love and support of each other which they could not enjoy in their youthful days owing to the family respnsibilities. Now when they had just started to enjoy their life this forced separation leads them to take drastic steps to make their children realise their need for space.
